First to start off with your slayer adventure, you need to talk to vannaka,

He will give you your first slayer assignment.
After you are given your slayer assignment, follow into this portal.
Location;
After you have teleported to the slayer tower, search through out the tower,
to find your desired monster,
If you have trouble finding this monster, look at tears guide here to find
portal locations, it is in the guide section marker " [Guide] Portal Locations. "
If you are a worry wart like me when it comes to dieing,
take the following inventory to your monster;
Maybe even few mantas,
